Next Tuesday, 14th of September, we invite you all to the opening of the exhibition Fotointerpreta. The photographer Navarro Herrera has developed during this year a very interesting work, based on the book Devoradores, by Antonio Pomet.

TRAFIC 09 starts!

The third edition of Trafic Experiència Fotogràfica will take place from the 4th to the 8th of November at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona. Among lots of different activities we will present the work of 6 photographers from Magnum agency: Antoine d’Agata, Chien-Chi Chang, Bruce Gilden, Carl de Keyzer, Mark Power y Chris Steele-Perkins.

LOOK / TELL Learning experience using photography - TRAFIC 09

This week, several education institutions in Catalonia will launch an experience about images at different levels.
The results will be presented at TRAFIC by the authors on Friday, November 6, at the auditorium.

Biblioteques de Barcelona and the Centre de Fotografia Documental de Barcelona present the fifth edition of the project Photointerpretation of literary texts.
The photographer RAFAEL AROCHA keeps a dialogue with the city motivated by three poets: Carlos Barral, Jaime Gil de Biedma and José Agustín Goytisolo.

Consuelo Bautista wins the Ciutat de Barcelona of Plastic Arts Award

We'd like to congratulate our friend and photographer Consuelo Bautista who has just been given the Ciutat de Barcelona of Plastic Arts Award.
The Jury, composed by Rosa Maria Malet (President), Ignasi Aballí, Carles Guerra, Glòria Picazo and Catalina Serra, agreed to award Consuelo Bautista for her photographic project A los invisibles, presented for the first time at H2O Gallery and extended in an innovative way with the free publication handed out with the collaboration of inmigrant groups within the framework of the experience Trafic07 organized by the Centre de Fotografia Documental de Barcelona and held at the CCCB in Octubre of 2007.
The Awards presentation will take place on the 13th of February at 19h at the Palau de la Música.
